The project “Holistic Reintegration of Demobilized Youth Combatants in Northern Karamoja” is a three-year project funded by CEI – SICSP and implemented by the Justice and Peace Department of the Kotido Catholic Diocese. The project targets 293 demobilized youth combatants and is being implemented in all the Sub-counites and parishes of Kotido and Kaabong. It focuses on two main components to achieve this goal. The first is socioeconomic reintegration, which involves providing skills training and livelihood support. The second component addresses mental health and psychosocial needs through individual and group counseling, family reunification, and mediation sessions.
