The Jpd-K Annual Report for 2024 highlights a year of steady progress and impactful interventions across Northern Karamoja. Covering the period from January 1st to December 31st, the report reflects the Department’s unwavering commitment to its Vision of a violence free society and its Mission to foster respectful, rights aware communities. Guided by core Values of Social Justice, Human Dignity, Peace, Love, and Inclusiveness, all projects both ongoing and newly initiated were implemented smoothly. Notably, initiatives funded by Agiamondo and DKA continued to thrive, complemented by unearmarked support. The Department also successfully secured new funding from Mondo Aperto Onlus and GIZ CUSP, and received approval for two additional projects under Zivik and CEI, further expanding its reach and deepening its impact. Overall, 2024 marked a positive chapter in advancing peace and justice in the region.
